The organisation
ImagingHQ is partnering with a well-regarded independent imaging practice in Canberra to appoint a Sonographer – Obstetric & Gynaecology. This is a smaller, clinician-led environment where quality of reporting and patient experience come first — known for low staff turnover, flexible working arrangements, and genuine investment in its people.
The role
You will perform obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations to a high clinical standard. You will work closely with reporting radiologists or cardiologists, manage your own patient list, document findings accurately in the RIS, and contribute to protocol development and quality assurance.
What we're looking for
Current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR), or eligibility to obtain ASAR accreditation (including via ASMIRT overseas assessment pathway). We actively support overseas-trained sonographers through the AHPRA accreditation pathway and are experienced in assisting UK and Irish-trained candidates.
