The organisation
ImagingHQ is partnering with a busy regional public health network serving the Hobart district to appoint a Sonographer – General. The service offers genuine clinical breadth — a varied patient population, strong ties to the local GP network, and a team that punches above its weight. The role
You will perform general ultrasound examinations to a high clinical standard. You will work closely with reporting radiologists or cardiologists, manage your own patient list, document findings accurately in the RIS, and contribute to protocol development and quality assurance.
What we're looking for
Accreditation with ASAR or equivalent is required, or near completion of your qualification with supervised clinical hours. Newly qualified sonographers from Australia or overseas are warmly encouraged — we value enthusiasm, clinical curiosity, and a commitment to quality.
