The organisation
ImagingHQ is partnering with a regional imaging service in Townsville, QLD to appoint a Radiologist – General Diagnostic. This service supports a broad catchment including referring GPs, visiting specialists, and surgical teams — offering the kind of clinical variety and genuine community impact that is hard to replicate in a metropolitan setting. The role
You will report across a general diagnostic caseload including plain film, CT, ultrasound, and MRI, supporting a broad regional referral network. The mix of planned and acute work ensures clinical variety and meaningful community impact — with scope to develop or maintain a subspecialty interest.
What we're looking for
FRANZCR or equivalent fellowship (FRCR, ABR, EBIR or comparable) with current AHPRA registration is required for this locum engagement. You will be immediately available and able to report independently across the advertised subspecialty from day one.
