The organisation
ImagingHQ is partnering with a regional public health service on the NSW South Coast to appoint a SPECT-CT Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The Illawarra region offers a genuine lifestyle advantage — beaches, good schooling, and an active outdoor community — within commuting distance of Sydney.
The role
You will perform a varied SPECT-CT caseload including bone scintigraphy, renal studies, thyroid imaging, hepatobiliary studies, cardiac SPECT, and ventilation-perfusion scans. You will contribute to quality assurance and radiation safety compliance.
What we're looking for
AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Nuclear Medicine Technology) is required. Demonstrated SPECT-CT experience is essential. ASNMT membership is advantageous. We support overseas-trained Nuclear Medicine Technologists through ASMIRT skills assessment and AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Nuclear Medicine Technology). ASNMT membership support is also available. Enquiries are welcome from candidates in the UK, Europe, North America, and New Zealand who are considering an Australian move.
