The organisation
ImagingHQ is partnering with a busy regional public health network serving the Hobart district to appoint a Nuclear Medicine Technologist – General. The service offers genuine clinical breadth — a varied patient population, strong ties to the local GP network, and a team that punches above its weight. Hobart is one of Australia's most liveable cities — world-class food and wine, outdoor adventure, and a genuine sense of community.
The role
You will perform general nuclear medicine procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration, patient care throughout the procedure, image acquisition, and quality control, in accordance with ARPANSA regulations and ANZSNM/AANMS standards.
What we're looking for
AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (or eligibility to register) is required, along with a current or transferable radiation licence. Overseas-trained nuclear medicine technologists — including those certified through SNMMI (USA), BNMS (UK), or equivalent bodies — are warmly encouraged to apply. We are experienced in supporting international candidates through the AHPRA assessment process and can advise on radiation licensing requirements by state.
What's on offer
- Annual CPD allowance with support to attend relevant national conferences
- Novated leasing available for eligible employees
- Generous annual leave and professional development leave entitlements
- Access to subspecialty training rotations and fellowship programs
- Relocation assistance considered for candidates relocating from interstate or overseas
